introducing Datca

Datca is a stunning and feisty rescue boy living in Zurich now, but was born in the Turkish island of Datça. he is surrounded by native plants that grown on his birth island.

Maraca the absolute ADORABLE young puppy, Maraca, another wonderful little Brussels griffon. Her loving dad commissioned me to make Maraca’s very first portrait, and it really is an honour. Here she is, surrounded by Costa Rican (her birth country) tropical plants and flowers.

This sweet boy was the very loved Barney, the cocker spaniel. his owner Alicia wanted to commemorate him with Banksia, a native Aussie plant that represents his place of birth, and his birth month flower which represents love.

Anubis, or Nubi ,for short, is a beautiful Shiba-Inu (or how his mom likes to call him, "the fluff god of death”).

Andy and Nubi had a great day in a poppy field, in the blue sky amongst the red flowers. So we re-created that day, of Nubi in the poppy field.

Beautiful girl Billie passed away unexpectedly last year, breaking her owner's heart. The owner's wonderful friend Holly decided to gift her this drawing for Christmas, so she could always have a part of Billie with her. We chose coastal flowers as the beach was Billie's happy place. The yellow flowers are called “Billy Buttons” so I thought it would be fitting to add them to this drawing of a sweet angel girl.

This sweet little creature is Peach the chihuahua!

She is a tiny rescue girl, a sleepy little cuddle puddle. I drew her surrounded by peach tree branches and lilies.

Sweet Schweppes was a tiny young puppy under a bush of rosemary when her family found her and promptly adopted her. Many love-filled years later she would enjoy her senior days resting under a cumquat tree in the sun. This is a portrait to commemorate the beautiful sweet Schweppes.

Inga is a sweet Berlin based rescue from Greece.

She was found with a burned nose and a cat cold and motherless on the streets, until her parents and 2 cat siblings adopted her. She is energetic, outgoing, brave with a huge heart passion for life.

Here she is surrounded by her favourite plants, with the yellow background symbolising the ray of sun that she is.

Tauntaun the Brussels griffon is an adorable lanky, yet squished baby boy, made for my very close friend Sweet boy Tauntaun is surrounded by n.z’s beautiful leafy greens- Kawa-Kawa leafs, Kowhai branches, white clover, and pine cones.
